About me

Hi, I’m Mateusz Wojciechowski – a Business Central Consultant & Developer based in Poznań, with over five years of experience in the Microsoft Dynamics ecosystem.

My career started in fund analysis at Franklin Templeton (where I wrote my first line of code!), a role that cultivated in me a deep appreciation for data integrity and collaborative problem-solving. Today, I combine that data-oriented mindset with my daily work building custom AL features, aiming to pair technical expertise with a "team-oriented" approach to fostering a community where sharing experiences leads to more available and better solutions for everyone.

For the past five-plus years, I have been working with IT.integro on the end-to-end delivery of complex Business Central upgrades and implementations across Europe, North America, and Asia.

About the blog

As a Business Central consultant and developer, I have always been surprised by the lengths my fellow community members are willing to go to avoid using the products of our collective experience. Too often, we prefer rewriting solutions for the same problems over and over again. In my experience, many believe that doing so is simply faster and more effortless, but I strongly disagree. I believe it is time we stop reinventing the wheel.

I am not advocating against progress; rather, I am proposing that we leverage existing solutions. I firmly believe that investing the same amount of time and effort into an existing idea, instead of starting from scratch, results in a more well-thought-out, optimized, and overall better solution.

Convinced of this approach, I decided to start this blog. Here, I look forward to sharing turnkey solutions and best practices gathered from the various projects I have participated in. Start reading.
